Fractional thermal-mechanical devices

Thermal-mechanical systems use a heated tip rather than laser light or radiofrequency current. The tip briefly contacts the skin in a pattern, creating controlled zones of thermal effect.

How it works

A reusable handpiece heats a patterned treatment tip. Very brief contact transfers heat into selected microscopic areas; treatment intensity depends on temperature, contact time, tip and number of passes.

Potential benefits discussed
